I have roughly 300 pictures to go through for the cutie-pa-tootie Fort Myers Beach Easter-time blog. I have to whittle that down a smidge before I even consider thinking about how to put it together. In the meantime, I'm going to distract you with some random, Hurli-Spring pictures.
Look! Over there! Cute pictures! :)
First, this is when Ellery found a rogue sucker at our house. I still have no clue from whence it came, but I DO know that she sucked the heck out of that sucker. And then she was sick for a week afterwards.
"Mom! Look what I found!"
"What? I shouldn't be eating it?"
"And you think YOU are gonna take it away from me? Think again."
Next, a trip to the park. This was one of those really nice days in the middle of some cool, crisp days. It was beautiful, and we had fun! :) This was actually in March, during March Madness, as I'm wearing my Purdue shirt, so nicely gifted to me by Vicki Zwier...so I could proudly cheer for their horrible loss! :)
Hmmm....Maybe I'm not too sure about this monkey bar business. (Don't let the look fool you. She's a fool for the monkey bars...with help, of course).
Sisters take a fun trip down the slide!
OK, maybe not as fun as 2 seconds ago at take off.
Picnic at the park after a run. And by "park," I mean school playground. Or as Tanner refers to it, "the park with the fence."
I remember now why these didn't get posted. This swing picture is the one I used on one of those "Tanner is Heinous" blogs. I got distracted.
Everything with Tanner is a race. (I have no clue where here competitiveness comes from).
Unfortunately, I dont' think Ellery "won," per se. Tanner had gone down and was back up by the time Ellery went down once!
"Big Sass, how do you get up there so fast?"
Jumping on what Tanner refers to as the "trampoline." It's definitely not a trampoline.
These next pictures are from when Tanner and I pulled "seaweeds" in the burms. Tanner was very proud of every "seeweed" she pulled. (Tell me this girl isn't a beach girl!) WAIT! We're not talking about beaches. Where were we? Weeds...ya....weeds.....
And this one of Elle....well...I think it speaks for itself.
Those cute sunglasses have since been lost, somewhere around the perimeter of Continental Divide Hut. The attitude that accompanies those glasses, however, is still going strong.
And last, but certainly not least....Opening Day! This year, opening day was on April 1st, and the Rockies LOST! Boo! We didn't actually get tickets this year (ridiculous prices) and instead opted to hang out downtown with friends (while the kids hung out with a sitter :) These are the appropriate-to-post-on-a-family-blog pictures. :) (JK, they're all appropriate, the others are just a bit screwy :)
Meagan & Ann strike a pose.
Heather, Meagan, & Ann at the end of the afternoon (or beginning of the evening for young girls like Ann & Meagan! :)
Kim & I look pretty happy that the Rockies lost! Or maybe we're just really happy to be having a good time DESPITE the Rockies loss! :)
Hopefully you are suitably sated with a Hurlifam blog for the time being. I'll get back to sorting through those beach pictures soon. I promise :)
