Punkin' Patch!

I'm pretty sure Tanner has no clue that there is actually an "mp" in pumpkin.  It is "punkin pie," "punkin bread," and definitely "Punkin Patch!" No mind, though, because our "Punkin Patch" adventure didn't actually involve many pumpkins, as it turns out.

Since last week's trip to the Pumpkin Patch was a bust (thanks, Ellery!), today Mimi, Tanner, Ellery, and I got all dressed in our Fall best to head out to a very sunny, warm, and very non-Autumn-like Berry Patch Farms (just north of Denver).  I dressed the girls in their matching Bat outfits (cutely made by Nana and supposed to be LAST week's attire), and headed out with visions of Parenting-magazing-esque fall pictures.  How hard could this photography stuff be?  Aren't I clever enough to get angles and sunlight?  As long as there's not poop involved, I should be okay, right?  Ha.  Ha.  Ha.

Anyways, instead of being overwhelmed with pumpkins, we ended up roaming around the farm and eventually picked raspberries - Mimi taught Tanner how to eat them right off the "vine," and between the two of them, we're lucky we got a pint home!

I snapped about a bazillion pics, Mimi got about a gazillion shots, and between us we came up with about 5 usable pictures.  Besides Ellery being a grumper (she has a mouthful of teeth coming in!) and Tanner being reluctant to look at the camera, I'd say the day was a sunny success :)
